Seasonal Sangria
Fall is crisply in the air and everyone is looking for that delicious, fall-inspired cocktail. Apples and spices mingle perfectly with the scent of leaves and rain in the air. This time of year truly brings out Michigan’s ability to paint a perfect canvas of reds and oranges, as well as ripen a variety of apples to perfection. Harnessing the tastes of these impeccable, crisp fruits in a lovely Sangria, is a nod to the season. The Ballroom’s talented bar staff has put together a delicious recipe to enjoy on that perfect, fall afternoon, or as a signature cocktail at a fall-inspired wedding. Nothing pairs more perfectly with a breezy afternoon patio date, than Apple Cider Sangria. Easily created at home, or enjoyed amongst the tower marble columns of the Ballroom, this cocktail and fall are truly meant for each other.

1 750 ml bottle of Toresella pinot grigio
2 1/2 cups fresh apple cider
1 cup club soda
1/2 cup ginger brandy
3 red apples, chopped
3 pears, chopped
Directions
Combine all ingredients together and stir, stir, stir. Top with cinnamon spice if desired. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
